Bio
Cynthia Zamora, MD, FCCP serves as Medical Monitor at Dr. Vince Clinical Research. She brings extensive experience in clinical medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care and clinical research, with expertise in early phase clinical trials and clinical study safety and conduct.
Throughout her career, Dr. Zamora has worked across Pharmacy, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, academia, private practice and clinical research. She began her professional career in Pharmacy before earning her medical degree and completing training in Internal Medicine, followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Her academic career included serving as an Assistant Professor, where she conducted grant-supported nonclinical bench research and provided clinical care, including participation in a lung transplant program. This was followed by 16 years of private practice in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Zamora later transitioned to clinical research in the CRO setting, serving as a Principal Investigator for more than 400 studies. Her research experience includes Phase I first-in-human studies involving review of nonclinical data to determine participant safety parameters, study conduct, safety review meetings and contributions to study reports. She has also participated in studies evaluating drug delivery systems, dosing routes including inhalation, bioequivalence and factors affecting pharmacokinetics.
Throughout her clinical research career, Dr. Zamora has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support precise and high-quality study conduct. She brings a longstanding interest in medical research and extensive clinical and research expertise to her role as Medical Monitor at Dr. Vince Clinical Research.
